Device for influencing specific living cell material, comprises (a) several chambers (3) in or on substrate (2) for receiving cell material, (b) a pair of electrodes (4) for applying direct or alternating electric field to the cell material, (c) a generator of a magnetic and/or electromagnetic field for acting upon the cell material, with a magnetic and/or electromagnetic field, (d) a heat generator for heating the cell material, (e) a piezoelectric pressure transducer for pressurizing the cell material, and/or (f) a sound generator for acting upon the cell material, with an acoustic field. Device for influencing specific living cell material, comprises (a) several chambers (3) in or on a substrate (2) for receiving the cell material, where the chambers are associated to an integrated circuit that is assigned to each of the chambers, (b) a pair of electrodes (4) for applying direct or alternating electric field to the cell material in the chambers, (c) a generator of a magnetic and/or electromagnetic field for acting upon the cell material in the chamber, with a magnetic and/or electromagnetic field, (d) a heat generator for heating the cell material in the chambers, (e) a piezoelectric pressure transducer for pressurizing the cell material in the chambers, and/or (f) a sound generator for acting upon the cell material in the chambers, with an acoustic field, where the device (1) is designed and arranged such that the pair of electrodes, the heat generator, the piezoelectric pressure transducers, the sound generator and the generator of a magnetic or electromagnetic field is individually controlled and is adjustable, by means of the integrated circuit.
