The vehicle (1) has an oxidant supply installation part (5) attached to a fuel cell unit (2). An electric drive motor (17) is attached at an electrical traction motor (14) and a compressor unit (7). The compressor unit is electrically driven such that an oxidant storage vessel (8) and/or the fuel cell unit of the compressor unit are supplied with compressed oxidant. The electrical traction motor is formed to convert mechanical brake energy of the vehicle into electrical power in a generator operation and to feed the electric drive motor.
