Micrometer screw for determining loads, has elongation measuring sensors spaced by central axis, where elongation values are determined to be high in bolt shank than in axis of upper shank portion
The screw has a screw head (8) comprising a bolt shank (9) with an upper shank portion (7) that does not rest at an insert side of the screw against an object. Two elongation measuring sensors i.e. fiber optic sensors, are coupled regarding position and orientation in the bolt shank, where elongation values are determined to be high in the bolt shank than in an axis of the upper shank portion by constitutive material load laws. The elongation measuring sensors are arranged and spaced by a central axis (6) of the bolt shank. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a micrometer screw.
