The profile (15) has a profile block row (3) extending over a circumference of a vehicle pneumatic tire and aligned at a tire collar in circumferential direction (U) of the vehicle tire. The profile block row extends to a position at an outer side of a bottom contact surface at axial distance from an edge of the contact surface. A set of fine grooves (10-12) is aligned within an axial extension area of the profile block row, where the grooves are formed at distance to each other. Another set of fine grooves (8, 9) is aligned in the circumferential direction of the vehicle tire. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle pneumatic tire comprising a tread profile.
