The instrument (1) has a thermal hemostasis device for tissue coagulation i.e. argon plasma coagulation, by producing temperature below coagulation temperature of biological tissues by using a electrode (19). A biochemical hemostasis device produces electrical discharge by using a discharge electrode and an insulation device (21) that is arranged between the discharge electrode and tissues to be treated. A lumen (5) comprising a supply and guiding channel (7) supplies substances e.g. fibrinogen, thrombin or aprotinin, affecting blood coagulation and noble gases, to the tissues to be treated. An independent claim is also included for a surgical device for active staunching of bleedings after open, laparoscopic or endoscopic operation in a patient.
