The wheel has a hub (10) for connecting the wheel with a drive motor e.g. brushless direct-current motor or permanent magnet motor, and fan blades (12) arranged around the hub. Pockets (22) are provided for inserting balancing weights and arranged partially in the all fan blades or in the selected fan blades. The fan blades are arranged axially between conducting disks (16), where the pockets are open in an axial direction. Depth and/or breadth of the pockets is adapted to dimensions of the weights, where the wheel is designed as a plastic injection molding part. An independent claim is also included for a fan.
