The module (2) has a device for generating electrical energy from heat, where the electrical energy generating device comprises a thermoelectric material (18) and a connector (22) that includes a liquid-metal material (20, 21). The connector is arranged to a contact surface (19) of the device. The contact surface is in thermal or electrical contact with the connector. A cladding body (3) transfers the heat to the connector. The cladding body comprises an interface for connecting the connector to the device. The liquid-metal material is received in a recording medium e.g. non-woven fabric. An independent claim is also included for a thermoelectric generator.
