Interchangeable insert useful in an injection molding or a diecasting machine, comprises a nozzle and an ejector mold half, where each of the nozzle and the ejector mold half has a mold frame plate that forms an inner receiving pocket
The interchangeable insert comprises a nozzle and an ejector mold half, where each of the nozzle and the ejector mold half has a mold frame plate (4, 14) that forms an inner receiving pocket (11), into which a mold insert (8) is positionable. Positioning devices (40, 41) are arranged in an edge-side region of the receiving pocket in the mold frame plate. The positioning device consists of a positioning wedge (20, 22) comprising a cone surface, which is bent in an angle at the incorporation direction of the mold insert, and an attachment screw. The positioning device consists of a positioning wedge (20, 22) comprising a cone surface, which is bent in an angle at the incorporation direction of the mold insert, and an attachment screw that is threaded and digable in the receiving pocket in the mold frame plate. A relative movement takes place in the conical surfaces when tightening the attachment screws for the attachment of the positioning wedges in the receiving pocket. The positioning wedges are deliverable: to the mold insert, where the passport measure is defined between the plate and the mold insert; and in the mold frame plate in the positioning direction of the mold insert such that the wedges are formed with a threaded spindle or an adjustable and lockable eccentric. The positioning wedge is fixable with two spaced-apart fastening screws in the receiving pocket. The positioning wedge is lifted off from the bottom surface of the receiving pocket at the top by a jackscrew. The displacement of the positioning wedge is limited along the conical surface in the receiving pocket by striking on the bottom surface of the positioning wedge on the associated abutment surface of the receiving pocket.
