The module (10) has a roof module aperture (14) limiting a frame element in a vehicle longitudinal direction (16) and in a vehicle transverse direction (22), where the frame element includes two spaced apart longitudinal pitches (20). A roof drive (29) includes a motor (28) for driving a movable roof element (12) between an open position for opening the roof module aperture, and a closed position for closing the roof module aperture. The motor is arranged in one of the longitudinal pitches, where the motor is arranged completely outside of the roof module aperture.
