The locking device (1) has two locking jaws (4,6) for locking column of plastic processing machine. The locking jaws are provided with locking contour unit that is engaged with complementary locking contour unit of column. The locking jaws are switchable between open and closed positions. The pivot axes (10,12) are respectively arranged at one end of the locking jaws. The locking jaws are connected with each other through a link mechanism (32). A pressure element (20) is mounted on a force application unit (3) that is swingable round one of the pivot axes of locking jaws. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) tool clamping plate; and (2) plastic processing machine.
