The stand (1) has a parapet wall (4) attached in an edge area of a base (22). The parapet wall is provided with a seat surface (23) for a user, where the stand is circular in shape. The seat surface extends over the parapet wall at a circumferential angle of 360 degrees. The seat surface is formed as an adjustable single seat (60) along the parapet wall, where the parapet wall is interrupted by an entrance that is closed by a mountable closing portion of the parapet wall.
