The closure cap has a support plate (6) for hanging out before a zipper coil along a cut end of a zipper, where a central bar inserted into a longitudinal opening of the zipper is located on a longitudinal center line of the support plate. A form-fitting recess (13) is formed on the side of the support plate adjacent to the central bar for positive accommodation of an inner edge of a belt side (1b) of a longitudinal end of the zipper. Another recess (16) is formed on the other side of the support plate for non-positive accommodation of the inner edge of another belt side (1a).
