The device (1) has a component with a torsional vibration damper (2), and a clutch assembly (3) coupled with the damper by a coupling device (4), where the damper is sealed with respect to the clutch assembly. A clearance (23) is radially formed within the coupling device between the damper and the clutch assembly and closed by a lid (24), where the lid is connected with an input section (7) of the damper and an input section (12) of the clutch assembly in a torque-proof manner. The lid is received in a hub (21) of a clutch disk (19).
