The incremental launching method involves providing two steel main girders (3) and a carriageway slab (4) made from steel, reinforced concrete or prestressed concrete. The maximum projection length of the bridge superstructure is reduced in mounting condition around the two-fold value of the distance (17) of the axis of a thrust bearing (9) from a pillar axis (19) with the help of a concrete supporting structure (2). The concrete supporting structure runs between the both main girders and above the carriageway slab.
