The conduit unit has a charging cable (20) for connecting a motor vehicle-side electrical energy storage unit to an external charging station (22), and an auxiliary unit (18) i.e. roller, for performing an extension movement of the cable with auxiliary force, where the auxiliary force is adjustable. The auxiliary unit is arranged at the proximity of an aperture (14) formed at a side of a motor vehicle (10). The conduit unit is arranged in a container that is made of electrical conductive material, where the auxiliary unit comprises an electric drive i.e. electromotor. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a container.
