The mold has two mold plates (11, 12) comprising mold cavities (13, 13', 13'') provided with a gate aperture for injection of molten material, where the mold cavities form a mold part. Another mould cavity is connected with the former mold cavities by an overflow aperture, where the latter mold cavity does not form a mold part. A ratio of the volume of the latter mold cavity to the volume of the former mold cavities lies in a range of 1:60 to 1:130. A break section is formed by forming a taper in the region of the overflow aperture or in the region of the latter mold cavity.
