The method involves fastening a screw device to a coated component. The rotational speed and torque of the screw device is determined (S1) during screwing process. The digital time signal of the screw device is determined (S2). The angle-discrete according to the digital time signal is determined (S3). The characteristic frequency (f) of the digital time signal is evaluated (S4). The quality of electrical contact of the screw and nut is evaluated based on the evaluated characteristic frequency (f).
