The method involves estimating a reference elastic curve (12) of a deformable surface, and calculating a concordance criterion between the reference elastic curve and a predetermined elastic curve of the surface. A value of the concordance criterion is evaluated with respect to a predetermined value. A test database is updated by integration of an additional test point in the test database for execution of given iteration process when the evaluated value of concordance criterion is a negative value.
