The process comprises withdrawing gas samples taken during production of well, measuring a concentration of rare gas isotopes contained in sample and calculating isotope ratios, deducing the measured isotope ratios, calculating ratio of the amount of gas on the amount of water present in a geological reservoir using concentration measurements of isotopes of noble gases measured in the gas produced at the beginning of the production process, and evaluating volume of rock drained by well having gas saturation and volume of producible gas considering the measure of the amount of produced gas. The process comprises withdrawing gas samples taken during production of well, measuring a concentration of rare gas isotopes contained in the sample and calculating the isotope ratios, deducing the measured isotope ratios, calculating ratio of the amount of gas on the amount of water present in a geological reservoir using concentration measurements of isotopes of noble gases measured in the gas produced at the beginning of the production process, evaluating volume of rock drained by the well having the gas saturation and volume of producible gas considering the measure of the amount of produced gas, and determining fracturing of the volume of rock drained by the wells. A distillation curve gives the ratio of the amount of gas produced on the amount of producible gas by wells for each withdrawal.
