The method involves allowing a crawl space to act as a buffer volume between outside a building (1) and an interior of a part (20) to be ventilated. The crawl space is included in a forced ventilation circuit such that collected air outside the building crosses the crawl space before penetrating in the part to be ventilated. The air issued from the crawl space is subjected to forced circulation between ground and a ceiling (15) of the part along walls (2) of the part. An independent claim is also included for a building or dwelling comprising a crawl space.
