The drophead has a front seat (1) equipped with a windscreen (3) and a retractable cowl (5) e.g. telescopic or unrollable cowl. The cowl is integrated with a top part (13) of the windscreen so as to cover a space between the headrest and the windscreen when the cowl is deployed. The cowl is integrated with an anti-dazzle screen (9). The cowl is integrated with an upper edge of the headrest. The cowl is made of translucent impermeable material. The cowl is in a shape of gutter.
