The device (D) has an analysis unit (MA) analyzing current measured close to a terminal of a battery (BA) and delivering a current signal when the current is stable. A control unit (MC) commands operation variation of an electric body formed of electricity consuming bodies (O1-O3) and a power supply source (AL) e.g. alternator, during reception of an alert signal. The control unit generates an alarm signal representative of disconnection of the battery of a power supply network (RA) in case of continuity of reception of the signal after initiation of the variation.
