A transmitter box transmits the signal. A receiver box receives the signal transmitted by the transmitter box. A modulating unit modulates the signal received by the receiver box. A smartphone type portable terminal is provided with a signal processing module and a screen for displaying data representative of the cardiac and/or respiratory activity.
