The asymmetric laminated glass panel comprises two sheets of glass connected by an asymmetric intermediate adhesive layer. The thickness of the adhesive layer increases and decreases, or vice-versa, in one direction. In two opposite zones of the glass panel, the thickness of the adhesive layer is increased at a distance away from the edge of the panel, where two edge zones are separated by a zone of constant thickness. The glass panel has a length of 1-2.5 m, a width of 0.4-2 m, a minimum radius of curvature of 500 mm, a confining angle of 35[deg] and a deflection of 150-500 mm. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing the laminated glass panel.
