The mechanism (1) has a shuttle integrated with a leaf (3). A guiding unit i.e. rail (6), guides the shuttle in rectilinear translation along a reference axis (X). An electric locking unit (7) includes a fixed part (7'a) and a movable part (7'b). The fixed part is integrated with the guiding unit, and the movable part is integrated with the shuttle. An energy store (8) includes two ends (8a, 8b), where one of the ends is fixed with the guiding unit and spaced from the fixed part of the locking unit, and the other end is integrated with the shuttle. The electric locking unit is an electromagnet or a striker system.
