The device has a charging gun (1) connected to a charging lead (3) of body structure of a vehicle, where the lead is connected to power supply batteries. An access door (4) for accessing the charging lead is mounted to the body structure to pivot between a closed position for retraction of the lead and an open position for accessing the lead. A cover (15) connected to the door is partially disintegrated from the door when the door occupies the open position and locked to the structure by partially covering the gun connected to the lead so as to prevent disconnection of the gun from the lead.
