PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment and transfer device that stabilizes an attitude of a screw at an early stage after it has moved to a transfer belt material.;SOLUTION: In a part supply unit for aligning and transferring a metallic screw 1 comprising a head part 2 and a leg part 3, a pair of chute rails 11 and 11 are connected in parallel to each other and with a space W of about the diameter of the leg part 3. The chute rails 11 and 11 are formed so that the thickness becomes gradually thinner toward their leading ends, and a freely rotatable rotor 20 is disposed close to the lower part of the leading ends. The outer circumference of this rotor 20 is formed by a transfer belt material 24 composed of a magnetic substance being fixed to it. After the screw 1 is absorbed by the transfer belt material 24, the leg part 3 is guided to the respective inner surfaces of the chute rails 11 and 11 for a while. Accordingly, the unsteadiness of the screw 1 that is apt to be caused immediately after the absorption can be suppressed, and the screw 1 is caused to be in a completely upright position at an early stage and conveyed to photographing positions of determination units 30 and 32. As a result, there is no blurring in an image taken of the screw 1, and the quality determination of the screw 1 can be performed accurately.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
