PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-up transformer which can be made compact and lightweight as a whole while reducing the cost, by making a ferrite core compact and lightweight, and decreasing the number of turns of primary winding and secondary winding.;SOLUTION: Ends 242c, 542c of ferrite cores 242, 542 are placed in the center hole of a bobbin shaped insulation member 252, and the tips of the ends 242c, 542c are connected with each other by a conductive adhesive 71. There is no gap in the central part 62 of the ferrite cores 242, 542 located in the center hole.
