PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for performing delivery that assures suitability of the device for performing delivery to different sizes, at a reduced adjustment cost.SOLUTION: A device 10 for delivering a rod-shaped article of the tobacco processing industry from a device for conveying a rod-shaped article in a lateral axis direction to a device for conveying a rod-shaped article in a longitudinal axis direction, or vice versa, is characterized in that a pivot point D of a swing arm 17 disposed on one side and a position A for storing a rod-shaped article coming from a device for conveying a rod-shaped article in a longitudinal axis direction or a position A for discharging a rod-shaped article to the device for conveying a rod-shaped article in the longitudinal axis direction disposed on the other side, are positioned on the same and essentially horizontal plane. A device unit including the device 10 for performing such the delivery is provided.
