PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television broadcast commercial detection circuit capable of detecting commercial broadcast without depending on changeover of a voice mode and without having a user determine whether or not it is the commercial broadcast.;SOLUTION: A television broadcast commercial detection circuit detects a commercial message of television broadcast received as moving image compressed images. The television broadcast commercial detection circuit includes detection means (a scene change detection circuit 1) for detecting a scene change by correlation between frames of the moving image compressed image, and determination means (a time detection circuit 2, a segmentation circuit 3, and a comparator circuit 4) for determining whether or not it is a commercial message on the basis of the scene change detected in the detection means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
