PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model animal for post-stroke motor dysfunctions which is an essential tool in evaluating therapies for post-stroke motor dysfunctions, determining the effectiveness of medicine, and evaluating their effectiveness.;SOLUTION: The middle cerebral artery of a CB-17 mouse is ligated in such a way that part of a striate artery branching off from the middle cerebral artery is blocked. The position of the litigation is the intersection between the middle cerebral artery and an olfactory tract. One kind or more of cell selected from the group consisting of neural stem cells and cells with angiogenic potency, vascular protection capability, and inflammatory suppression action is transferred or medicine is administered to screen effectiveness for the recovery of motor functions after the onset of motor dysfunctions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
