CATTLE IDENTIFICATION METHOD AND CATTLE IDENTIFICATION KIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying proteins concerned with economical characters of beef cattle by proteome analysis and individually identifying cattle having effective economical characters by using these proteins as biomarkers, and to provide a cattle identification kit to be used for the method.;SOLUTION: A cattle identification method includes: (1) a collection step for collecting biological fluid/biological tissue from cattle; (2) an extraction step for extracting all proteins from the collected biological fluid/biological tissue; (3) a measurement step for measuring a content of a specific protein in all the extracted proteins; and (4) an identification step for identifying economical characters of the cattle on the basis of the content of the specific protein.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
