PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to screen low-molecular weight modulators of a p21-activated kinase (PAK) in a nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. PSOLUTION: This new PAK gene from the Caenorhabditis elegans is provided. Further, an RNA molecule suitable for an RNA interference and an associated loss-of-function phenotype which is brought about by the RNA molecule are provided, respectively.
