PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable resin composition from which a degradable foamed sheet having excellent appearance, high expansion ratio, small odor and small elution of a biodegradable component is manufactured, and to provide a method of manufacturing the biodegradable foamed sheet using the composition.;SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin composition is prepared by mixing (A) a thermoplastic synthetic resin, (B) inorganic filler, (C) a biodegradable organic material and (D) a thermoexpansive microcapsule containing a physical foaming agent, wherein the mixing amount of the (A) component is ≤49 mass% based on the total amount of the composition, the ratio ((B)/(C)) by mass of the (B) component to the (C) component is 3/7-7/3 and the expansion starting temperature of the (D) component is ≥130°C and the maximum expansion temperature is 220°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
