PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing filler metal capable of forming a sufficient fillet in a junction even in various shapes of junction parts to obtain a satisfactory brazing property.;SOLUTION: An Al-Si brazing filler metal has a composition containing 0.2-5.0 mass% of Mg and 3-13 mass% of Si, further containing an element having 10 Torr or more of vapor pressure at 600°C, and comprising a residue containing Al and inevitable impurities, in a brazing method using an aluminum clad material with the Al-Si brazing filler metal material clad in a core material and positioned on the uppermost surface. The Al-Si brazing filler metal is brought into contact with a brazing-objective member in a nonoxidizing atmosphere with no depression, and the core material is joined with the brazing-objective member at 559-620°C in a contact part fluxlessly by the Al-Si brazing filler metal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
