P To provide: a long object in which RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is bui a method of manufacturing the long object in which the RFID is bui and a long object reading device for reading information of the RFID which is built in the long object. PSOLUTION: The long object 100 includes the RFID 1, a cable core line 2, and a sheath 101. The cable core line 2 is a multi-core cable which is formed by covering circumference of what is obtained by bundling four cores of conductive wires with cloth etc. The sheath 101 can pass an electromagnetic wave therethrough, and is made of insulating members such as polyethylene, vinyl, rubber and etc. The sheath is composed of a first sheath 3 which covers the RFID with and a second sheath 4 whose color is different from the first sheath 3 so as to recognize a position where the RFID is embedded.
