PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional three-phase voltage-type PWM inverter controller that phase current information for two phases may not be detected from a direct-current bus current during a one PWM period if the controller performs control under a condition that a modulation rate of an output voltage vector Vs is higher than 1 since the controller is supposed to perform control under a condition that the modulation rate of the output voltage vector Vs is 1 or lower. PSOLUTION: There is provided an inverter control unit including: output voltage vector calculation means for calculating an output voltage vector Vs based on a direct-current bus current, a direct-current bus voltage and an angle speed instruction value supplied from outside; and output time management means for generating an output voltage vector Vs' and an output voltage vector Vs'' based on the output voltage vector Vs and managing an output time per half of a PWM period of each of two basic vectors that are adjacent to the output voltage vector Vs' and are not zero such that each output time becomes a prescribed time TMIN or longer.
