YAW REDUCTION GEAR USED IN YAW DRIVE SYSTEM OF WIND POWER GENERATION EQUIPMENT AND YAW DRIVE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a yaw reduction gear used in a yaw drive system in wind power generation equipment which is further hardly damaged (even in a size similar with a conventional one), and the yaw drive system.SOLUTION: The yaw reduction gear G1 (-G4) is used in the yaw drive system 14 of the wind power generation equipment 10 in which output pinions 24 of a plurality of yaw reduction gears G1 (-G4) are meshed with a traversing gear 28 of a body side of the wind power generation equipment 10 to drive and rotate a nacelle 12, and includes a hollow shaft 66 incorporated into a power transmission system, and a shaft member (connection shaft 70) inserted into the hollow shaft 66, connected with the hollow shaft 66 at the inner circumference of the hollow shaft 66, and connected with the other member at a position protruded from the hollow shaft 66, and the shaft member (connection shaft 70) is connected with the hollow shaft 66 at a position closer to an opposite side to a side where the shaft member (connection shaft 70) is protruded from the hollow shaft 66 than an axial center of the hollow shaft 66.
