PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic design of a wiring layout exhibiting a strong resistance to an external stress.;SOLUTION: In a step 52, a vertex is extracted from layout data indicative of an already-designed wiring layout. In a step 56 of executing arc-shaped processing of start/end portion, a layout data file 32 is rewritten so that an arc is added to a part containing the vertex and a part corresponding to a region surrounded by the arc and two lines is added to wiring. In a step 58 of executing arc-shaped processing of inflection portion, the layout data file 32 is rewritten so that an arc is added to each part containing the vertex, a part corresponding to a region surrounded by an arc and two lines is added to a part containing a vertex having two lines forming an angle less than 180 degrees, and a part corresponding to the region surrounded by the arc and the two lines is removed from a part containing a vertex having an angle exceeding 180 degrees.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
