PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book management system allowing a layaway reservation not assuming purchase about a book having attracted attention in an advertisement, and allowing control of a delivery number or the like of the books such that the book can be easily confirmed in a designated store. PSOLUTION: A user operates an information terminal 40, selects the book performed with the layaway reservation from books placed in the advertisement of a newspaper or the like, and designates the store for browsing the book. A management server 20 receives information about the designated book and store from each information terminal 40, and accumulates it in a layaway information table 34. A store PC 70 disposed in each store transmits past record information including sales past record of books or store visit frequency of the user having performed the layaway reservation to the management server 20 in prescribed timing. Thereafter, the management server 20 estimates the number of the books to be delivered to each store based on the layaway information, and the past record information or the like, and transmits delivery instruction information to a delivery center PC 80 of a delivery center.
