PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adequate correction of temperature unevenness due to convection of air in the case in which the inclination angle of a light generating surface with respect to a vertical direction can be changed. PSOLUTION: A device for determining the correction amount for correcting temperature unevenness in a light generating surface on which a self luminous element is arranged in a matrix manner has (1) a memory region for memorizing standard correction amount set for correcting temperature unevenness of a lower part of the light generating surface generated in the case in which the light generating surface is arranged in parallel to the vertical direction, (2) an inclination angle detection part for detecting the inclination angle of the light generating surface with respect to the vertical direction, (3) an adjustment coefficient determination part for determining the adjustment coefficient with respect to the standard correction amount depending in response to the inclination angle, and (4) a correction amount adjustment part for adjusting the standard correction amount by using the determined adjustment coefficient.
