PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a destination prediction apparatus which can predict even a destination which has a high probability of regular occurrence despite low frequency with high precision.;SOLUTION: The destination prediction apparatus stores arrival/departure histories from points of departure to points of arrival for the past travels of one's own vehicle in a predetermined travel history storage section 3, calculates a visit interval for each point of arrival included in the stored arrival/departure histories by a visit interval calculation section 61, determines the presence or absence of regularity for each point of arrival by a regularity presence/absence determination section 62 on the basis of the calculated visit interval for each point of arrival, and when there is a point of arrival, out of points of arrival determined to have regularity, for which the time elapsed from the last visit to the present and the visit interval calculated by the visit interval calculation section 61 match, predicts the point of arrival as a destination by a destination prediction section 64, and provides it to a user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
