PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that, since training data are required for the conventional waveform equalization amount adjusting method, in a case where the optimal value of a waveform equalization amount is changed owing to, e.g., a temporal change in circuit characteristics, it is necessary to switch a device to a training operation once to adjust again the waveform equalization amount, so that it is necessary to stop the normal operation of the device.;SOLUTION: A waveform equalization amount adjusting method is provided, with which a waveform equalization amount can be optimized in a state that a device is normally operated, by adjusting the waveform equalization amount while using, in data received by a receiver, data obtained by a clock reproduced by a CDR and data obtained by a clock of which the phase is different from that of the clock reproduced by the CDR.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
