PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify correspondence relation of the pixel of a projected image and a pixel in a projection means so as to project the image without distortions, while keeping the resolution of the image to be a projection object, as it is, when projecting the image on an arbitrary projection plane. PSOLUTION: A reference pattern image group generation means 73 determines the luminance value as the function value of a continuous function that changes continuously, accompanying the change of a phase and generates a reference pattern image group which is the image group in which the luminance value is determined, by changing the phase for each image and is the image group in which an initial phase value is continuously changed for each coordinate value along one coordinate axis.
