PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for diagnosing the demagnetized state of a permanent magnet of a permanent magnet synchronous motor, to provide a record medium recoding a program for executing the diagnosing method, and to provide a permanent-magnet-synchronous-motor driving unit.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for diagnosing the demagnetized state of the permanent magnet of the permanent magnet synchronous motor includes: a magnetic field generating portion which generates magnetic field components each corresponding to a plurality of directions passing through the rotation axis of a rotor, on a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rotor in a stationary state; a stator current measuring portion which measures a current flowing through a stator coil in correspondence to each of the generated magnetic field components; and a demagnetized state diagnosing portion which compares a comparative value calculated on the basis of the measured stator coil current with a preset reference value to diagnose the demagnetized state of a permanent magnet attached to the stator in correspondence to each of the generated magnetic field components. This diagnosing apparatus is capable of easily diagnosing the demagnetized state of the permanent magnet in the permanent magnet synchronous motor without disassembling the motor and having separate expensive equipment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
