PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for an insertion state inspection device for press-fit terminals, wherein an insertion state of each of a plurality of press-fit terminals arranged and collectively inserted can be simply and correctly determined, and those press-fit terminals with a good insertion state and base boards as combined items can be easily assembled; and to provide a manufacturing method of combined items of the press-fit terminals and baseboards.;SOLUTION: The inspection device 1 is equipped with a light source section 14 which emits light on a portion of the press-fit terminals 21 inserted through insertion holes 27 of a printed wiring board 23 and protruding from the printed wiring board 23, light-reception sections 15, 17 which obtains a transmission image or a reflection image of the press-fit terminals 21 in a light of the light source section 14, and a CPU 13 to determine insertion state quality of the press-fit terminals 21 based on images of through-holes for inspection 38 by extracting figures of the through-holes for inspection 38 on the press-fit terminals 21 from among images received by the light reception sections 15, 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
