PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reproducing an old judo tatami mat without scrapping.;SOLUTION: In this method of reproducing an old judo tatami mat, a damping body 2 is put on the front surface 1a of the old judo tatami mat 1, and a rear sheet 3 is put on the rear surface 1b of the old judo tatami mat 1. The damping body 2, the old judo tatami mat 1, and the rear sheet 3 are integrally sewn with each other. A tatami facing 6 for judo tatami mat is put on the integrated body 4 from the upper side of the damping body 2. The tatami facing 6 is sewn to the integrated body 4.
