PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support design of a sound absorber for bringing out high sound absorbing effect in various spaces. PSOLUTION: A sound absorber design support device specifies a natural frequency in which natural vibration is likely to degenerate based on degeneration distribution representing a degeneration degree in which natural vibration degenerates, which is calculated from a plurality of spaces, and a resonance frequency is calculated so that the natural frequency is included in a frequency band where the sound absorber absorbs sound and the degeneration degree may become a maximum. The sound absorber design support device repeats processing for setting the resonance frequency of the sound absorber until the total sum of degeneration degrees in a frequency band other than the frequency band where the sound absorber set the resonance frequency absorbs sound becomes a threshold or less, and a design value of the sound absorber calculated based on the calculated resonance frequency of the sound absorber is displayed on a display section.
