A kind of device and method are disclosed, save building. The energy-efficient building of the device includes interface unit, architecture information definition unit, ontology representation unit, energy management unit. Interface unit receives the characteristic of outwardly and inwardly context and building, provides in the module building from architecture information. Building information unit limits the specific representation using building information of outwardly and inwardly contextual properties building. The ontology representation unit represents the form of building information ontology model. The characteristic that energy management unit selects energy to correspond to current context based on ontology model is established via the interface unit, and energy is saved, in energy management strategy of the building based on selection.
