The infrastructure manager manages a computing resource of a virtualized environment and determines a utilization of the computing resource. The workload manager allocates the computing resource to a workload and launches the workload on the virtualized environment. The system director receives the utilization from the infrastructure manager, determines that the utilization is less than a utilization threshold, and directs the workload manager to reclaim a portion of the computing resource from the workload in response to determining that the utilization is less than the utilization threshold.
